Advent Wreaths Church School Teachers

The sunday school teachers have planned a family project for the upcoming Advent season. On Sunday, December 3rd, during the usual Church School time, each family is invited to work together to make their very own Advent Wreath. We will supply all of the necessary materials, as well as the snacks. We are asking each family to donate $10.00 to help cover the cost. We will all meet downstairs, in the undercroft, following a short sermon by Fr. Austin, to work on our wreaths. There will be plenty of help and some instructions. All are invited to participate. For the children who wish to do their own small wreath, we will have the supplies available. Please sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board so that we know how many people to prepare for. While everyone is working on their wreath, Fr. Austin will be speaking about Advent. Anyone who is interested, is invited to share their favorite Advent and Christmas tradiitons with the group such as a favorite recipe, an Advent Calendar, or an activity that your family enjoys.
