Less than 2 weeks to go – our Silent Auction is on Fri., Oct. 16 from 7 to 11 P.M. – Please help with 2 items to make this year’s Silent Auction a success – donations of items to be auctioned and invitations to all your relatives, friends, and neighbors. Do you know someone who would like to donate a gift to be auctioned? If you frequent a restaurant or other place of business, consider asking the owner/manager if they would give a donation. Tickets are on sale during coffee hour. Make sure to invite all friends and family to this fun event with great food, fellowship and the opportunity to bid on/ win some great items for auction!
Our Fall Blood Drive happens in just two weeks. It's time to start signing up for a donation time slot, to bring baked goods, or to volunteer to help with hospitality - or all three! Sat., Oct. 17 from 1 to 5 P.M. in our undercroft .... sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board downstairs. Many thanks!
The 34th Crop Walk for Hunger is Sun., Oct. 18 from 10 to 2 P.M. starting at the Jewish Community Center in Poughkeepsie. Resurrection’s representatives will begin their walk at 12 P.M. To donate or walk please call Sherry, 541-1371 or Marie, 221-9412.
Volunteers are needed to watch our little ones in the nursery – with enough volunteers you would only be scheduled one Sunday every 2 months. Please see Sherry Savoury during coffee hour.

There is a note included with your bulletin to give you an update on the family we are helping. You will see the family’s progress and some of their needs for the winter. They are very thankful for all of your generous donations.
Join our Youth Group at Chili’s restaurant on Rt. 9 for a Halloween Pancake Breakfast on Sat., Oct. 31 from 8 to 10 A.M. Tickets are $10 each and all monies will benefit our Holiday Outreach St. Nicholas Brunch that brings a little Christmas cheer to families in our community. There will be a costume contest, guessing games, and some good old fashioned Halloween fun!
