We welcome guests and newcomers to Resurrection. We hope you will join us, not only for this worship service, but also for the fellowship of coffee hour downstairs afterwards. Thank you to the Youth Group for providing coffee hour this morning.
Please turn off your cell phone for the service.
Thanks to the Parish Life Committee, the cooks in the kitchen, Marie Metzger's hens, the set-up and clean-up crews, and especially to Rena and Bert Mazzuto for the wonderful Easter Breakfast between the two services last Sunday! A great time of fellowship and joy was shared by over 85 people! (the Mazzutos also organized the St. Patrick's Dinner two weeks ago - perhaps party planning will be their new career?)
And a special thanks goes out to all who helped in preparing and serving for the many services during Lent and Holy Week. Thanks also for those who attended – over 130 people worshipped at the Palm Sunday service and more than 170 observed the Easter celebrations!
The Lenten series held on Sunday morning has 2 more sessions including this morning’s session. If anyone would like to join us to see what the series is about, you are more than welcome. The Adult Ed Bible Study resumes Sun., April 13 at 8:30 A.M. in the undercroft. We are finishing the Book of Job and will move on to the Psalms next. Everyone is welcome and everything is provided! It fits with either the 7:30 or the 9:30 service - please come! YOU are invited!
PLEASE sign up today to donate blood at our Ecumenical Blood Drive this Sat., April 5 from 1 - 6:30 P.M. The list is on the bulletin board in the narthex - please speak to your friends and neighbors and ask them to donate too! Walk-ins are also welcome or call the office during the week to volunteer. There are ways that non-donors can participate too - check the sign-up sheets to help!
We are in need of a volunteer who would be willing to teach our Sunday School preschool. Please speak to Vanessa Neely or call the office at 226-5727 if you are interested.
New Forward Movement Day by Day booklets for May, June, and July are available - in the tract rack (which is now located downstairs above the mailboxes). These are booklets with Bible readings and meditations for each day of the month.
A new directory will be published soon. But before it is ready, please let Patti know by April 16 (by email or phone message) if there are any updates to your address or phone number.
