About receiving Holy Communion: Those who have been baptized with water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and are in a state of love and charity with their neighbors, are welcome to receive Holy Communion here at the Church of the Resurrection.
What a celebration it was! Thank you to all who participated in some way to make our St. Patrick’s Day celebration a success - from the planning, set-up, food donations, cooking, to the clean-up. And thank you especially to the dance troup that entertained us with their Irish Dance routines! Over 80 people enjoyed the fellowship of the evening!
Resurrection’s Annual Sunday School Easter Egg Hunt takes place during coffee hour next Sunday, March 30. If you would like to donate candy or plastic eggs already filled, please bring them to Vanessa Neely before the service next week.
Won’t you give the Gift of Life? Resurrection’s next Blood Drive is Sat., April 5. If you are a regular donor, please plan on giving here. Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board in the Narthex.
The Missions Committee would like to request your help in collecting the following items during the month of March: infant formula, diapers, feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes & toothpaste, deodorant, and pajamas (size x-large). The supplies collected will be delivered the first of April. A box is set up downstairs for your donations.
We are in need of a volunteer who would be willing to teach our Sunday School preschool. Please speak to Vanessa Neely or call the office at 226-5727 if you are interested.
The last two sessions of our Sunday Lenten series will be held on Sunday, March 30 and April 6 at 8:30 a.m. The regular Adult Ed Bible study will resume on Sunday, April 13.
